There are changes in progress for Hill's on Campus.

Hill’s Pet Nutrition is the sole pet food company present at Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine (RUSVM).  Dog and cat food is donated to RUSVM from Hill’s Pet Nutrition and sold to Ross students and faculty for a discounted price at our campus store.

The funds generated by the food sales are used toward shipping of the food to St. Kitts, grants for student initiatives (eg, FeLV/FIV testing for the Feral Cat Program), and many other projects such as feeding support for the ZEW Club, surgical nametags for the 6th semester class, and funding for the microscopes in the Multi Disciplinary Laboratory and the ophthalmology equipment in RUSVM’s Veterinary Teaching Hospital.

The store is open Monday and Friday between 11 am to 2 pm, and Wednesday from 12 pm to 4 pm, and sells both Science Diet & Hill’s Prescription Diet foods.

We welcome your input and suggestions on how we can serve you better. :) Please refer to our announcements below, for any food/store updates.

Guidelines for Reimbursement of Travel Expenses for Medical or Compassionate Emergencies

Medical

A student in need of medical evacuation should consult the nursing office.  We require the student attempt to arrange emergency evacuation using the evacuation insurance coverage. In the event that this is unsuccessful,  and the nursing staff verify that the student needs to go off Island to receive medical attention,  the student may  write a supporting e-mail to Dr. Naylor – the Hills Faculty Advisor at jnaylor@rossvet.edu.kn proposing that emergency travel is reasonable for this student.

Compassionate

Hills will fund travel to funerals on presentation of a death certificate of a family member.

Form

*Once the proposal is received, the student will be asked to fill out the application below for  review.  Please print form for submission.*
